Dolphins attractions can be found at the sea of Mare Island, Tidore, North Maluku province.
These dolphins can be seen at 6 a.m. because they just wake up and prepare to do their activity. At around 7 a.m., a group of dolphins are not seen anymore. They usually go to find some food and will return to this location at 6 p.m. If you visiting in late afternoon, it is less attractive because the sky is getting dark and you cannot see clearly.
The location of the dolphins can be reached by speedboat from Port Rum, Tidore. The trip is only about 20 minutes. You can stay in Tidore before leaving to Mare Island.
The location is also ideal for diving and snorkeling, you just need to bring your own equipment. In addition, you can also visit Mare Island. Mare Island has a nice beach, and here you can see the making of traditional pottery.
