Hiri Island is located near the island of Ternate, North Maluku province. Hiri Island is one of the interesting and beautiful sights. The island is very close to Sulamadaha beach in Ternate.
Hiri Island has a rich and beautiful marine. Around Hiri Island, there are some small islands, such as Gofu Malo, Maka, and Gura Mangofa. Hiri Island is also ideal for diving and snorkeling. In one of the dive spots, you can find a Japanese war wreck around the site.
In Hiri Island, there is not yet available luxury inn like villa or cottage. Generally, tourists choose to stay on local residents in this island. To reach Hiri Island, you can cross the ocean by speedboat from Port Sulamadaha in Ternate, with travel time is only about 15 minutes.
