Lina lake is located in a jungle in Tobelo, North Halmahera, North Maluku province. The lake is surrounded by dense forest and has crystal-clear water. This calm lake stores various snails and freshwater fish such as java tilapia and nile tilapia.
Around the lake there is a village named Lina Village. From this village, the ancestor of Tobelo then migrated until they occupied the eastern coast of Tobelo. For those who chose to stay here, they continued their life as a traditional community that still exist until now and foraging in the lake and forest.

Telaga Lina is located around 30 kilometers to the south of Tobelo. If you use public transportation mikrolet (microbus), go with Destination: Trans Zero from the intersection on Jl. Simange-Sengkanaung (Tobelo city) then stop at Trans Zero Village. Next, you can continue by walking as far as 4 km to Wangongira. From Wangongira, Telaga Lina is about 7 km.
