Meti Island is located not far from Todokuiha Village which becomes a tourist destination for the local people at the weekend. Meti Island is one of the attractions in Tobelo, North Halmahera, North Maluku province. White sand and crystal clear sea water can be found on this island.
For adventure lovers, exploring this island can be a fun activity. On the east side of Meti, you can see the Halmahera mainland, while on the other side, you will find some beautiful rocks and unspoiled forest. In some locations, you can even still find some Japanese relics during World War II, such as aircraft fragments, cannons, guns, and so on.

If you go to Meti Island, you can also visit Pasirtimbul Island which is near on north of Meti Island. You should also bring lunch before visiting this island.

You can go by mikrolet (microbus) Destination: Mawea from Wosia station in Tobelo city and stop at Pier Todokuihua. From there, Meti Island is only about 15 minutes away by motorized boat (ketinting).
