Woto Island is also known as "Otto Island" and "Poelo Oto". The island is often visited by foreign tourists who like to surf because it has big waves. Woto Island is located in East Halmahera, North Maluku province.
In addition, Woto Island is surrounded by beautiful white sand. This island is uninhabited, located not far from Bicoli Village, South Maba Sub-district. There are two options to reach Woto Island:
1. The trip from Buli to Woto Island about 2 hours by speedboat.
2. The trip from Maba to Woto Island about 1.5 hours by speedboat.
The transportation cost is quite high because you need to rent the speedboat. The nearest trip is from Bicoli Village by speedboat.
