Mesjid Sultan Bacan (The Mosque of Sultan Bacan) is a historical heritage which is adjacent to the Sultanate of Bacan, Amasing Kota, or about 100 m which was in Amasing City, District Bacan.. This mosque was built in 1901, designed by a German architect, Hoennig von Hendrik during the reign of Sultan Muhammad Sadek. Behind the mosque there is a holy spring that is believed efficacious for health, which becomes the main attraction of this placeMesjid Sultan Bacan is located in Bacan Island, South Halmahera, North Maluku province

The mosque lies on an area of 6,020 m². At the pyramid dome on the top of the building, there is a  calligraphy on each side. This mosque has 17 entrances. On one of the terraces, there is a green painted drum with a diameter of 1 m and a length of 1.5 m, while on the back of the mosque there is an ancient burial complex of the ulama of Malacca, the family and relatives of the Sultanate of Bacan. This mosque is not surrounded by fence, but there are three roofed gates close to the mosque as the entrance gates to the neighborhood of the mosque.

In the past, this mosque was not only used as a place of worship, but also as the wheels of government activity. The Sultan and some Customary Chiefs usually hold a meeting on the porch of the mosque to discuss the issue of State.
