Kumo Island is one of the attractions in Tobelo, North Halmahera, North Maluku province. Every Sunday, Kumo beach is crowded with local tourists because the location is close to Tobelo. In addition to swim, from where you can enjoy the face of Tobelo city that is located right in front of it.
Not far from this place, there are some small islands like Rorangane, Tulang, Tagalaya and Bawole which also offers unique natural charms. Kumo Island is a great spot to watch the beautiful sunset over the ridge of Mount Mamuya.

Kumo Island is one of the cluster of islands in front of Tobelo city that can be reached about 6 minutes by long-tail boat (ketinting) in Tobelo Harbour, with route Tobelo - Kumo and return. If you want to explore the surrounding islands then you should rent a ketinting with a capacity of 6 people or a speedboat.
